After Izuku Midoriya's mother dies giving birth to him, he is raised by his father, Hisashi. Hisashi Midoriya is a good man, but he's hardly fit to be a single parent. Times are desperate, and at the age of four he starts training his son to do things that people will pay a lot of money for. Despite the questionable work his father puts him to, Izuku still dreams of becoming a hero - and that's just what he's going to do, even though he knows he doesn't deserve it. Midoriya is quirkless. Yeah, but his intelligence is unmatched.
