Rapunzel is trying to ask varian for forgiveness after she comes back from finding her destiny. Unfortunately it isn't as easy as she thinks but much harder than it looks. Both of them later on look back at their past.

What if Varian was never locked in prison. What if instead, the king thought a better punishment for him was to tag along with Rapunzel and the gang following the black rocks. Yes, he redeemed himself and returned for the third season, but the lack of his presence was felt by fans everywhere throughout the entire second season of the show. So what would have happened if he had redeemed himself sooner and been there for the gang's life-changing journey throughout the second season?
