There aren't a lot of Alec Hardy or broadchurch stories so I'm making reader/alec hardy

One week on to the biggest case the small town of Broadchurch has ever seen, DI Alec Hardy is under a lot of stress and is running out of evidence. A young girl who reminds him of his daughter comes into his life unexpectedly. Alec learns that maybe he does need a hand to hold.

DS Sophia Clarke is called in one day to investigate the murder of a young boy Daniel Latimer in a town named Broadchurch. The family of Daniel are her closest friends. Both of her colleges DI Alec Hardy, and DS Ellie Miller will help her solve the mystery as to who murdered Daniel Latimer. What happens when Sophia gets accused for the murder of Daniel Latimer? Is she innocent? Will she get found guilty? Will she fall for DI Hardy? And Will she solve the mystery?

Wrote this while in college because it was either write or kms, David Tenant's characters somehow always manage to help. Alec Hardy is also a hot, grumpy twat. Elspeth Carlisle, or 'Els' for short, a detective originally from Scotland moved to Broadchurch after a circumstance that personally affected her at her last job, which caused her to unofficially change her name from Elswyth to Elspeth. She's been living in Broadchurch for almost a year now, and has grown extremely close with everyone there, especially Ellie Miller, and Beth Latimer, as well as their children. Your life is going fine, your best friend is about to get her dream job, and nothing has beat the so far peaceful time you've been there, at least that is until a grumpy Scotsman reawakens past memories with him taking the DI position.

Katerina Lovely is the sister of Paul, yes different last names but that will be discussed in the book, anyway she works at the police station with Alec, her whole life becomes a huge mystery when she's found next to Danny on the beach. Barely breathing. When she wakes up in the hospital she remembers nothing of the night before. That's not her only mystery though.
