Und ihre geheimnisvollen Kräfte fand sie auch nicht so schlimm - besonders nicht, wenn sie Blumen im Winter wachsen lassen konnte. Erklärung kam erst durch einen seltsamen Mann mit langem Bart namens Albus Dumbledore und der Wahrheit, dass sie eine Hexe war. Und umgeben von mit-Schlangen-sprechenden Jungen und einem mordenden Monster fiel Anaïs gar nicht mehr so auf. Natürlich war das nicht der Fall bei Albus Dumbledore, der es sich aus irgendwelchen Gründen in den Kopf gesetzt hatte, herauszufinden, wer ihre Eltern waren. Keine so gute Idee, denn Anaïs hatte gelernt, dass es nie klug war, auf die Suche nach Eltern zu gehen - normalerweise fanden sie einen ganz von alleine.
