The purpose of the Test is to bring stability, order, and most importantly, education, to the forefront of our minds. In the Test it is no longer about who wins or loses, its about how you play the game. Every person, sixteen to twenty-five years of age, is permitted to enter the Test, to compete for the twenty slots available once a year, to attend the worlds one and only University. Where each student trains to be a leader. Participants fight to the death, to determine who is the strongest among us, who shows the characteristics of a University student. Those who show these desirable traits may be pulled out of the test to become a most celebrated student, able to provide for their Country and their family. Mya Schmitt is like any other sixteen year old girl, she gets good grades, attends public school and loves music. She also hides a dark and painful past as well as a secret too personal to share with her closest friend. Her life is like a nightmare, stained with blood and pain and destruction but when a boy from out of town interferes with her life in ways she can’t even imagine will she be able to keep the secret she's kept hidden for so long? A/N: After much thought and consideration I have decided that this story is going to be the first story I complete. Because of this I must Re write it. I will post what I can but please know that I am trying my best as an amateur writer. This also entails that this story is subject to change, a lot of it. Please be patient.
