A short poem

I feel immense pain and a crack happen on my side from the force of the kick. I'm struggling to breathe as I look over at my father being held down and brutally beaten by four of the men. He's looking at me with tears clouding his eyes. Seeing me must of given him a boost as he starts to fight back with even more determination and strength then before. One of the men send a hard kick to his jaw and all you could hear was a loud snap and his screams. The one that looks to be in charge picks up my unconscious mother, and slaps her hard across the face. The sound of the skin on skin contact reverberates around the room. Her face whips to the right and she makes eye contact with me crying her eyes out. She tries to lunge for me but before she gets far he once again yanks her by the hair. Her entire body flings backwards as she hit the ground with a loud thud. He made her sit on her knees next to my almost unconscious father facing my direction. The feeling of dread filled my entire soul as they looked like they were about to be executed. Two of the men walk over to my shaking, terrified body and hold me down......
