A world of magic, of fairies--do you imagine sparkly pixies? A secret door? No... Right now, the Realm is in chaos with the more powerful fairies scattered into hiding. The Dark Society is a group of evil Mistresses who control the havoc caused and seek to kill the last survivors and obliterate the Realm, submerging everything in the Void, or the Abyss. Senri Kaede is a normal student with a boring life who has just started high school as a freshman. A girl named Yosei Odoru transfers to his school in Tokyo, Japan, and her name just happens to mean Dance of the Fairies. Kaede goes upstairs one day to deliver some copy papers when he passes a window that views the courtyard. He looks down....and that one choice may have completely changed his life.

For Tatsuya Tokunaga, competing in the World Racing Grand Prix was something he'd dreamed of ever since he was a child. His parents, along with Toru, his childhood friend's parents, had competed time and time again. But when tragedy strikes in the form of a Duel Runner crash, both Crash Town boys were left without their parents. Having been left in the care of his grandfather Klaus, Tatsuya continues his dueling instruction. However, his hopes of being a Turbo Duelist are put on the back burner due to Klaus being unwilling to let him get involved. But trouble rears its ugly head between the Malcom and Ramon families, forcing Tatsuya and Klaus to move to the city.

W A L K A W A Y A young duelist is selected with one another to travel to Duel Academia, but when trouble starts to brew, she has to fight back and help her newfound friends stop this threat. But, she begins to feel something towards the bluenett duelest from North Academia, would that change her goal or will she forget about love and just fight? Armed with the deck his sister created, Tadashi must overcome the trials that await him in the sacred halls of Duel Academy. With his newfound friends, Tadashi braves the storms that lie ahead of him and learns a lesson that was long overdue. But when a dark force threatens to overtake their world, it's up to Tadashi and his friends to stop it.
