Benjamin or Ben is a 8 year old little boy with Albinism and Type 1 diabetes. his entire life he has been pushed away, ignored, forgotten, and neglected. His parents never spoke a word about him to anyone, not their friends, coworkers, or even his own brothers. He lives a life of mediocracy, full of schedules, bland but nutritious food, and nobody that shows a care in the world about him out of actual care just paid to make sure he stays out of the way. What will happen when Benjamin snaps? When he gets tired of nobody showing they care. What will his brothers do when they find out they have another brother that their parents never told them about. In other words, they won't only eat animals, they eat those poor humans as well. Edd and his loyal right hand man Tord Larkins, will pass a new dragon law. When the law comes into force, it gives the soldiers permission to kill those sickening lizards, and eat them instead. Tom meets a boy named Tord and they become friends. Soon after Tord has to leave the island but not before his father, Paul, kills Tom's mother. A few weeks Tom meets another boy whose name is Edd. Both Tom and Edd flee to another island and meet yet another boy, Matt. A few more weeks go by and they're taken to a foreign monster hunting facility. There Tom meets Tord once more. The four go to an orphanage. Tord is taken back home by Paul and Patryck, Both Edd and Matt are adopted, and Tom goes back to his old home. 15 years later they all meet up again.. but you'll have to read to find out what happens!

(oof) Tom is a normal guy hanging with his normal friends. At least, that's what he wants them to believe. Due to his "unique" appearance, he was tested on after his parents died. Unfortunately, one of those tests failed miserably, and now Tom is stuck with a horrid demon in his body, one that only activates if he is afraid. Not being afraid is hard, especially for him. Even though he's gotten better at controlling his fears, he worries for Edd and Matt when they fight. He knows it's because of him. Edd has been more abusive and furious with Tom with each passing day. And it's hard not being afraid when Tord joins the picture. As his childhood bully, it isn't hard to not have fears about him.
