[ Dark Romantasy / Mature ] The Vampyres of Gale are amid a flesh-eating pandemic, and Faerie tears are the only known cure. Livinia, a Faerie healer, joined the Human side of a Vampyre war in Nival to avoid scandal and the captivity of an arranged marriage. Upon "Liv's" return to her icy homeland, she gets put into real chains. She may have leverage, but it's not something that will set her free, at least not quickly. The Nightcaster Court is treacherous. They are rich, haughty, and omnipotent, but they haven't been hostile toward Faerie-kind since the "Vale of Tears" earned its name. It was before Liv's time, but it isn't any wonder why her people fled Crystal Hollows at the first sign of crisis. Liv can try bargaining for the freedom she never had, but, as a rule, the Nightcasters are fickle and cruel. To complicate things further, there's Corbin, the ailing heir - gifted, powerful, grateful for a second chance. He's everything his family is not, but a Vampyre is still a Vampyre, and love isn't love if there are chains attached to it. | ONC2025 Shortlist | - Now a "complete" full-length novel

Lieutenant Jack Alexander sat morosely over his drink in the corner of the bar and watched the man he loved being expertly seduced. He had waited years for Marc to return his affections, perhaps now was the time to move on - stop fixating on the one man who was out of reach, his best friend, Marc Duran. But when Major Ethan Pattisson is sent to the planet Mayia to investigate the theft of hundreds of illegal weapons, Duran comes under the spotlight, and Jack can't help stepping in to save him. When Jack finds himself caught in the middle between Pattisson and Duran, he discovers that unrequited love might soon be the least of his problems. LGBT Romantic Sci-fi A stand alone story in the Aurigan Space Saga series.

NOTE: This story was first drafted a thriller and I dubbed it 'Withered Rose'. (Hence the rose on the cover) I then later swapped the drafted chapters to make it an action book and named it Debbie Oaks (like the main main character) The first chapter is, however, unchanged. Debbie Oaks- Genius, sick of her sister, pretty, thought shy, almost invisible, single Lilly Oaks- Bitch, jealous, cheerleading captain, Queen B of Riverside High, spoiled brat, dating a criminal They're both sisters. Twins. Polar opposites. They both detest each other. Want to kill the other. They're both 16, and while Debbie works part-time at a cafe, Lilly's at nightclubs and doing wild things. Enter Jade Black- a 17-year-old master thief, sworn enemy of Lilly's boyfriend and new guest at the cafe where Debbie works. Approaching Debbie was never her plan- but after realizing how useful Debbie could be she makes her an offer. Which Debbie accepts. It should have been simple. Help a thief, bring down a criminal, step out of a sister's shadow, never worry about it again. Then Jade and Debbie fall for each other- and nothing is ever the same. After all, all cats have claws- it's just the matter if you use them or remove them. Word count: 20,000- 25,000 words

When the three gods of the dream world accidentally caused a mass homicide, their father, Erebus, decided to punish them and send them to the mortal realm. The oldest brother, the weaver of dreams who could mimic any human form, found the humans dull playthings that were beneath him. The youngest, the weaver of surreal visions who could mimic any form of nature, had always been secretly in love with the complicated race. The middle child, the weaver of nightmares who could mimic animals and monsters, carried the guilt why all three were banished and he desired nothing more but to return to his post. The brothers were proud gods who worried that the world would become drearier without them to inspire the mortals through their dreams. They did not want to leave their crucial responsibility with their father who was too busy forming darkness. They always believed mortals were tedious and unimaginative creatures who needed their guidance. Until they met Selene. ** The Penguin Awards - Second Place (Fantasy) Raven Awards - Third Place (Fantasy)

Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.
