Gary's life has fallen apart, he has no friends, no family, no home and no money. With a violent gang wanting to rake him across the coals and nowhere to go, he decides that there's nothing better to do than drink his woes away. After getting too drunk and breaking down, he's consoled by a kind Ventrexian who offers to take Gary back to his home. "I've already had a life with you Avocato....it's time you had a life with me" were Gary's last words to his friend. The Team Squad knew they wouldn't be the same without their captain who sacrificed himself for them, staying behind and allowing the time worm to eat them out of danger.
