Paradise was never meant to burn. When a plane carrying an English boys' choir, students from a nearby boys' school, and a girls' competitive dance team crashes onto an isolated island, the survivors believe rescue is only a matter of time. At first, they build shelters, gather food, and cling to the rules that once defined them. But hunger, fear, and the promise of power spread faster than the signal fire ever could. As rival leaders emerge, loyalties splinter, friendships crumble, and innocence is swallowed by violence. The island becomes more than a place to survive.. it becomes a mirror, revealing the darkest parts of everyone stranded there. Some fight to protect their humanity. Others embrace the chaos. With each passing day, the line between civilization and savagery fades, leaving scars that no rescue can erase. How long can paradise survive before it turns to ashes? A Lord of the Flies fanfiction featuring original characters, alternate dynamics, slow-burn relationships, and a darker exploration of fear, grief, and survival. ────୨ৎ──── ⚠️ Content Warnings This story contains mature and potentially distressing themes, including: • Graphic violence and murder • Psychological horror and psychological abuse • Physical assault and abuse • Bullying and harassment • Trauma, grief, and loss • Death of major and minor characters • Suicidal thoughts, suicide, and self-destructive behavior • Underage alcohol and substance use • Blood, injuries, and gore • Manipulation, intimidation, and coercion • Panic attacks, anxiety, and emotional distress • Themes of isolation, starvation, and survival • Mild romantic themes and implied LGBTQ+ themes • Cannibalism. Humans were weak and insignificant in the other races eyes. But somehow, they live through the harshest winters, the hottest summers, the deadliest plagues, and the longest famines. All because of a few special people with an innate capacity; others needed to learn to harvest from nature if they could even do it. With these individuals, kingdoms and queendoms rose from the ashes, and the humans weren't seen as inferior anymore. One of these queendoms sat higher than the rest because of one of these special individuals. -------------------------------------------------- Books in this series: Cryptic 1st book - Elementals - Completed 1st book other pov - Eyes Of Void - Completed 2nd book - Dragon's Legacy - Completed 2.5th book (same world, other place/characters) - Silent Flight - Completed 3rd book - The Shadow Knight - Completed 3.5th book (takes place between 'shadow knight' and 'spark from before') - Humanity's Hubris - Hiatus/being written 4th book (written after the 5th but fits here in the timeline for 4th) - "Just a crow" - Hiatus/being written 5th book - A Spark From Before - Completed 6th book - ??? - Draft -------------------------------------- I HAVE NO MONEY!!! When Journee Williams, a 25 year old aerospace engineer from Atlanta, walks into the villa as the newest bombshell, she's not expecting to shake things up she's just hoping to find someone who sees her for who she truly is. Confident, intelligent, and unapologetically herself, Journee has spent her entire life refusing to let people define her. As a pansexual woman who has faced judgment for not fitting into anyone else's expectations, she knows exactly what she wants: a connection that feels real. But she enters the villa at the worst possible time. With Casa Amor only a week away, the islanders are settling into their couples, and Aniya Harvey seems secure in her pairing with KC. From the outside looking in, Aniya has no reason to question what she has until Journee arrives. From their first conversation, there's something different. Aniya finds herself drawn to Journee's confidence, her intelligence, and the way she carries every part of herself without apology. Journee, meanwhile, can't help but notice Aniya's warmth, her vulnerability, and the way she makes people feel seen. But in the villa, feelings are complicated. Aniya has to decide if she's willing to risk something familiar for something unexpected. Journee has to figure out if this connection is real or just the excitement of being the new girl. And with Casa Amor approaching, one thing is certain: A new bombshell has arrived... and all eyes are on her.
