The life in Edo changed completely when a life changing virus came unexpectedly . The virus is so called as "love finder" by the human is happily accepted by the people in Edo as well as the people around the world . None of the scientists try to stop the virus because it can help them to find their soulmate easily . However , there are pros and cons of the virus . The good use of the virus is that we can easily find our soulmate by the scent , the closer you are to your soulmate the stronger the scent . But , some of the soulmate hate each other that it could cause them to kill one another in other to find a new soulmate . That is how Hijikata and Gintoki found out that they are each other soulmate .
