Mia Reyes has one rule: never say what she's really thinking. Then she falls down the bleachers on the first day of school, hits her head, and wakes up with her filter completely gone. Every private thought comes out loud, in front of everyone, with zero warning. Including her savage, painfully honest opinion of Noah Callahan. Star athlete. School royalty. The boy she's hated since freshman year. He heard every word. Now the whole school knows quiet Mia Reyes has no filter left, and Noah cannot stop thinking about the girl who is the only person at Ridgeview High who has never once tried to flatter him. She should be mortified. Instead, she starts saying exactly what she thinks on purpose. Enemies to lovers. Face-slapping so satisfying you'll want to cheer out loud. A heroine who never backs down, even when her own mouth keeps betraying her heart. Some thoughts should stay inside. Too bad hers don't.

She loved me when I didn't even know how to love myself. Sahiba walked into my life with eyes full of devotion and a heart foolish enough to believe I could give her the same in return. And what did I do? I crushed her. With my silence. With my indifference. With the walls I built so high she could never climb them. Worst of all? My fucking betrayal. She thinks it's over. That the divorce ended us. But the truth she doesn't know is brutal-she's still my wife. On paper, in law, in name... and in the marrow of my bones. I never let her go. I couldn't. I've spent years carrying the weight of her absence like a noose around my neck. Every day without her has been punishment. Every night, I see the girl I destroyed staring back at me in my dreams, reminding me that I turned her love into ashes. But this time, I won't let her slip through my fingers. I'll fight. I'll bleed. I'll burn the world if I have to. She might hate me, curse me, despise the ground I walk on-but I'll take it. Because losing her once broke me. Losing her again will kill me. I was her nightmare once. Now I'll be her damnation or her salvation. But I'll be hers.

Aurora Hale knows how to make anything bloom. Roses. Nightshade. Even love. In the sun-washed city of Elysian Coast, she runs Thorn & Bloom-a café-floral atelier that deals in beauty with a bite. What once felt like devotion now feels like decay, soft, slow, and deliberate. Thier relationship is withering under the weight of its own rot. And in Elysian Coast, everything that grows beautiful must feed on something dying.
