When Mitch and Scott meet as college roommates, they're not sure what to make of each other. It all starts when Mitch is threatening to fail his exams and has to get a tutor. But as soon as he realizes that this tutor is none other than Scott Hoying, openly gay, nerdy student that his friends pick on regularly he tries to do anything in his powers to get his lessons canceled. That is until he finds himself in an extreme emergency and realizes that Scott is his only safe place.

Mitch just sometimes has "bad days". The stress gets to be too much, the exhaustion catches up with him, and the anxiety just sets in. On these days, Scott is the calm and steady anchor that helps him through the storm. Based loosely on my own experiences with anxiety and panic attacks. It can be difficult, and sometimes we just need someone to stand by us through the storms until we can stand on our own. On that note, possible trigger warning for description of a panic attack. Hello again my friends, and welcome to my latest long-format story. This one is gonna be a bit different. It is very very VERY AU, so just go with it as it's set in a fictional world and time. It hopefully goes without saying that this is 1000% fiction and anything here about real people is just a story and doesn't necessarily represent them or even my opinion of them. Cool? Okay. Credit for that insane book cover goes to the incredibly talented @Eliak22. I gave her one pic and half of an idea and she completely nailed it. My plan is to showcase her and other artists throughout the story, so be on the lookout for that. I expect this will be a fair bit smuttier than my other long stories, for those of your thirsty folk.
