"If you lay another finger on my people, I will hang you up in the rafters by your wrists and slice your body directly down the middle so you can watch your organs spill out of you one by one. The pain will be excruciating." He hissed, his minty breath fanning my face and my breathing turned as erratic as my heart as he dragged a lone finger down the middle of my chest, moving the zipper with it so that his finger grazed my skin in a cutting motion. There was no reason for me to get aroused by his cruel words, but I did. This entire time I was trying to cloak my scent to prevent him from noticing, but I lost my control and there was nothing I could do to stop my scent from rising between us. I cursed in my head when his tilted, a dark brow raising. He knew. Tsking, he stopped his finger right where my heart was located, eyes locked on mine. "Well, well. Seems we have a masochist on our hands. You surprise me, kitten." He drawled, his lips curving into a dark smirk. *** They call her the soul punisher, the demon slayer. Any supernatural creature that crosses her path, feels the wrath of her blade, her murderous eyes the last thing they ever see. Vesper. She's only known one thing her entire life. Kill. Show no mercy to the creatures who carelessly murder her kind. Humans. The slayer blood runs through her veins, fuels the hatred for every immortal creature that walks the earth. Nothing stops her, no one is a match for her. Until Luka Ardelean crosses her path, an equal match she's been yearning for since she chose her blade. Now, the real challenge begins. The prize? Luka Ardelean's heart wrapped in a box with a pretty bow. ⚠️WARNING ⚠️ This story contains mature content such as foul language, graphic sex scenes, graphic violence, murder, and more!
