Chat tries and tells her about his feelings, but it doesn't go well. Chat gave up and decided to make Marinette feel better about what he did. But things start to heat up between them. This book is about Chat Noir in love with Marinette but can't tell her his feelings. Just when Chat has the guts to tell her, Marinette and her family are leaving to a bigger business in America. Chat can only think of the times he had with his Princess. As Marinette is in America with her family, Chat realizes that Marinette is his life and must tell her his feelings. So Chat being Chat, he decided he is going on a trip to America!

When Marinette gets hit by a car while crossing the street on her way to school, she ends up losing all of her memories of who she was - including Ladybug. She's scared and lost, and everyone is a stranger. Just when she starts to get to know Chat Noir and to understand herself as Ladybug, her memories vanish again. And again.
