The idea that you buy people to do whatever you please with them didn't settle well with Shuichi. So in order to really find out what life was like behind the scene, he had to get one himself. He had to buy himself a partner. But never in a thousand years did he picture himself actually falling for him.

When he gets his job at the asylum he meets a patient named Kokichi Oma. The insane boy is seventeen, but he doesn't seem crazy, at least at first.
