Ezä'äm is 8 years old when she's given up to TAP as a trade for her clan's safety. TAP, or The Ambassador Program, raises her for 16 years alongside other children for the purpose of making peace between the Na'vi and RDA. But she knows it's all a facade for something... After many years and many losses, Ezä'äm eventually takes her one chance to escape, after a tragic ending to her first and last attempt. She meets the person who unintentionally helped her, a violent but strangely charming man. So'lek is a warrior capable of mass destruction at the shot of a bullet. His past has left him with nothing and no one but his weapons and his rage. He inadvertently helps Ezä'äm escape her metal prison and instantly falls for her, becoming devoted to her. Will she feel the same and mate with him? Or will someone or something take them away from each other before they can?

This story is told primarily through Sa'kiri's perspective, allowing her inner thoughts, doubts, and quiet emotions to shape the narrative. At times, the perspective will shift to other characters-most notably So'lek-offering brief glimpses into what remains unspoken between them. At its heart, this is a slow-burn So'lek × Sa'kiri story. It explores trust earned in silence, the tension between duty and desire, and the fragile moments where two guarded souls find themselves standing too close to one another in the aftermath of war. A new enemy was coming.
