Arely is a sophomore in high school who's life is not what everyone thinks it is. From losing her little brother at a young age to enduring daily abuse at the hands of her father, Arely just about has everything on her plate to deal with. Things change when the new kid comes to town and sets his sights on befriending Arely. Under very harsh circumstances, Arely has to battle with how to overcome all the madness thrown her way.

Over the course of 2 years, Landon spends his time back home in Colorado. With him continuing to struggle with epilepsy and his anger, he is faced with new problems that ends him back in Houston. Excited, he hopes he can get back in touch with Arely. But he's hoping it's not too late to rekindle their relationship.

Jayden has face many obstacles throughout his life. He's overcome many odds and has worked very hard to become a better person than he was. He vowed to change his ways especially once his girls came into the picture, however he will face many new challenges in parenthood and with his father-in-law.
