An AU-ish short story collection I wrote for a contest once. (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Imagine... What if, back when everyone thought Spider-Man was the criminal, he got caught?

This is an alternate ending to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and then what happens afterwards! --- Peter Parker has many struggles. He can't keep a good, safe, consistent relationship with the love of his life, Gwen Stacy, and when she almost dies, Peter feels guilty and breaks up with Gwen yet again. Gwen goes on with her life, leaving for Oxford. Then, Spider-Man is faced with more supervillains. As he fights them off, a few people discover his true identity. Peter then struggles with the new emptiness in his heart, something only Gwen can fill. He misses her very much, and he desperately wants to be with her once again, but this time, forever. --- WARNING: Contains spoilers. Do not read unless you have seen The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2.
