Izaya Orihara wanders around Ikebukuro like always, and, like always, Shizuo Heiwajima comes along; and they fight or play their little cat-and-mouse-chasing game, BUT! Something weird happens and they both need to help each other in order to return to Ikebukuro.

In Volume 2, Melanie and Gray's relationship blossomed as their hearts got closer. Then, enemies targeted Fairy Tail. Oracion Seis came back for revenge, Aquamarine, Aurelie's "sister", came for her revenge, and the evil spirit within Daniel came out of its shell. Throughout the arcs, Melanie and her friends fight to protect one another. Melanie on the other hand, sacrified her life to do so. Five months later, she returned to Fairy Tail with a smile.
