This takes place three months after Stormy Nights..... It's mid-July everything is worse from where we left off. Gwen hasn't woken yet, Duncan's locked up again, Bridgette's depressed, etc., read as Valentine and everyone starts to try and piece together why Gwen did this to herself.

It's everyone junior year at Oak May High School, it's time for college applications, becoming mature, and no more drama...but that doesn't happen when our newgirl returns to town. Her name is Gwendolyn Miranda Ingrid-Russo, the little twin sister of Valentine Montgomery Ingrid-Russo. He is a very popular, bright, athletic, charming kid, but Gwen is the exact opposite of him, she's a loner, dark, smart, goth girl who slightly depressed. She just moved to Canada after living with father in Paris, France for seven years. As she's Valentine's little sister, she has a free ticket into popularity, but quickly turns it down as she just wants to be left alone. As time pasts, her smarts are noticed by the school board and she's asked to start tutoring kids, as she starts tutoring kids she notices how more than half are her brother's friends, but they don't know that she's his sister. As she tutors them she starts liking one them...a particular one named Duncan Nelson, the punk of the school, but there's a problem...he's Valentine's best friend and in a long committed relationship.

Gwen and Duncan, the closest best friends, many have seen. Hopelessly in love with one another throughout high school, but to scared to tell. What happens when one moves across county to pursue their dream while the other has to stay behind. What happens when they begin to slowly drift apart? What happens when it's eight years later the best friends, who haven't spoken to one another in over four years are focused to meet again.
