Mikasa and Eren meets again, but everything isn't rainbows and butterflies when they meet again.

She has no idea where the father of her daughter, Armin Arlert, is. The Scouts went away on their 68th expedition, and still haven't come back. He doesn't even know that Emilee exists. And for all Annie knows, Armin is dead, or doesn't remember her. But Armin does remember her, and not a day goes past that he doesn't miss Annie. Five years ago, mermaids were discovered to actually exist, but the world's response was to hunt them down for their beautiful, unusual scales and create products like clothing, accessories, and such out of them. Mermaids could turn into humans and roam the land, but they had scales covering their ankles, showing that they were mermaids. Mikasa always thought the idea of mermaids was interesting, and she was ashamed that the humans mistreated them so badly. One day, she notices one of her classmates wandering around the lighthouse atop a hill over the sea near where she lived. She recognized him as Eren, a student who transferred recently, and she sees him lunge towards the cold, wavy sea below.

Completed! Mikasa and Eren have always hated each other since they were kids. They never did anything together​ and sometimes fought. Eren called her names like "ugly" or "anorexic" angering Mikasa. finally Mikasa moved away satisfying Eren's needs. 12 years later, Senior year and Mikasa has returned to her hometown. She now attends a high school called Scouts academy and thought her new life would start off fresh. that is until she finds out the schools bad boy/ player. Mikasa knew things would not work out this year and hoped that by the end she wouldn't end up being one of Eren's project.
