Taking on their personality, memories and feelings. It's the closest Aria ever comes to bonding with another person. Not having a normal childhood leaves Aria without the know how to form connections with her new team. Open hostility and avoidance is how she protects herself from everyone. Aria's thinking is why should she be forced to be friends with everyone as long as she does her job? An unsuspecting Aria comes home from a mission and accidentally channels Bucky Barnes cementing her need to keep her distance from everyone. That is until a public encounter with Bucky forces Steve Rogers to set aside his feelings for her and give her an ultimatum: Aria has one month to bond with at least one team member to prove she can be trusted more than feared by her teammates. Having nowhere else to go she decides to do it. But can Aria learn to open up and let them in or will she be forced to leave the only safe haven she's ever known?

The two quickly become inseparable best friends. So much so that when Steve needs help bringing Bucky home four years later, he goes straight to Ronnie to ask for her help. Not hesitating for a second she agrees to his covert plan without question. Though not long after, a hidden truth comes out that could possibly tear the close friends and the team apart. Will Ronnie and Steve's relationship survive or will their friendship end forever? How will the addition of Bucky in their lives change things? And as for Loki? Well he's mischief and is a surprise not even Ronnie anticipated.
