[IN PROGRESS] Dream comes from a somewhat wealthy district in Panem - district two. Most years there are teenagers within the district who volunteer to go into the Hunger Games, believing themselves to be lethal and a shoe in to win. This year won't be any different. Right? On the other side of the country, an boy from district ten is picked for the fight. George is clever, but his empathy and new surroundings seem like they could lead to a terrible end. As they're suddenly thrown into the competition, Dream is forced to confront feelings he never thought he could have while also facing the reality of possibly never returning home. Is being dishonest with yourself a fate worse than death? This story takes place in the hunger games universe, using mcyt as most of the participants. It's also a dreamnotfound type of story, but purely fluff & a take on their characters, as I don't want to make it weird for them & be respectful. Enjoy the story!
