It's the screams that catch him. The screams he can't escape. The screams that follow him, rip at him, tear apart his very soul and soak into his bones. It's the screams that keep him awake at night. It's the screams that make him think he is going mad. He's determined to avoid getting killed, to make the most of his second chance. But he has to find the screams, to prove to himself he's sane. And in doing so, maybe he'll figure out why Hermione Granger looks like she's as mad as he is.

Draco stood as close to the edge as he dared and looked down. Waves were engaged in their endless battle with the land, beating relentlessly against the rock face far below. Jutting out of the water were the rocks that had been cleaved from the cliff wall. As he stared at the water, the height dizzied him and his vision blurred. He stumbled and the pack of supplies he had thrown over his shoulder fell. Before he could grab it, it went over the edge. He considered Summoning it, but something held him back. Enthralled, he instead watched as the pack, as though in slow motion, tumbled through the air and finally fell into the water amidst the jagged rocks. The wind died and all he could hear was the gentle murmur of the distant pounding of the waves. Follow the story of Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger as they fall in love with eachother and how it all starts with arranging stacks of books, wall colours, and jumping off a cliff.

Voldemort has won and is trying a new angle to gain power. In a strategic marriage, he uses Hermione and Draco as pawns to win over the worldwide wizarding community. Being the new "it couple" in the press, Hermione and Draco struggle to navigate a world in which they must present themselves as a happy couple in order to protect those they love. (CURRENTLY BEING REWRITTEN -29/08/2025) This story is a dark little red riding hood inspired works. ~ Voldemort won the war, Harry Potter is dead along with the rest of Dumbledores order. Upon Voldemort's rejoice he decides to reward his loyal pack of werewolves with a bone, unfortunately that bone ends up being a very unlucky Hermione Granger. Her deteriorated mind is deluded with the idea that Draco Malfoy is her salvation, boy was she wrong. The man is obsessive, he hurts her, he comforts her, he manipulates her, he owns her, and boy is he thrilled she is his mate. Not only is he hell bent on making her one of them, but he's also bent on claiming her from the inside out, starting with her womb. Trust witches and wizards when they tell you to never stray from your path and into the forest, there's a big bad wolf lurking in those trees. ~ Throughout the book you may choose to either forgive Draco or hate Draco until the end. Five years after the war, Draco and Hermione meet by chance as she wanders into a French vineyard just hoping to re-live a trip she took there with her parents during her school years. Instead, she finds a shirtless, barefoot Draco Malfoy hiding out unbeknownst to the wider wizarding world. He's ashamed of his past misdeeds, and she's been recently humiliated by her soon to be ex-husband. Neither are aware that their lives are about to be inexorably linked, forever.

Making a living in Muggle London is very hard for her. Not to mention when she met her old enemy, Draco Malfoy. Forgetting his dark past and graduating from Hogwarts, Draco decided to move on and leave the wizarding world with his mother. His father aka Lucius Malfoy, a former Death Eater, is still stuck in Azkaban and Draco had no intention of seeing him any longer. The 2 moved in Muggle London, trying their best to adapt with the new surrounding. "Hermione Jean Granger. I added a few things such as changing it to Hermione's POV, adding her thoughts, and changing some details to fit the story.
