Dawncurl is born into perfection. Her mother always told her that life was a blessing and that she should never take it for granted. However since the birth of she and her brother, she was instantly cast aside by her father who favored her brother and claimed he would be heir to the throne. However, the roles will soon reverse when Dawncurl is discovered to be a skilled strategist and combatant. Not just skilled, but a prodigy. With this information she is finally given the praise she's always craved from her father. Along the journey, she finds out her family isn't so perfect and she will become the victim of it all. As a looming darkness unfolds, Dawncurl will fall under the hold of her father. Adoring his praise, she goes to grave measures to ensure that she keeps it, no matter the consequences; even if it means hurting the cats that she loves most.

Although ShadowClan will not banish a kit in need, Frost struggles to feel as if she truly belongs there. As she grows from a kit to an apprentice and finally a warrior, she must fight to prove herself to her new Clan, while also unraveling the secrets of her parentage. But, the state of the forest is fragile, and a storm of war looms ever closer, threatening Frost's place in the Clan that she now calls home. The Clans should have always been kept separate. Three Clans, one in the mixed forest, one in the beech forest, and one by the river. RimuClan, BeechClan, and RushClan. To the surprise of everyone, Spiderstar and Keastar announce to their Clans that RimuClan and BeechClan will be uniting to form one large Clan - ForestClan. They will no longer compete for prey, they will no longer fight. Instead, they will rule the forest together. Greeneyes, the loyal BeechClan deputy, is given the task of helping bring these Clans together. She vows to rise up to the challenge and show her leadership skills, but fixing the divide between the two very different Clans is harder than she imagined, especially when she discovers what is truly at stake. Fogface, a traumatized RushClan warrior, feels as threatened as the rest of her Clan when they are left out of this new agreement. She and her mate decide they have to do something about this agreement, and establish a rebellion for all those unhappy. And as ulterior motives are revealed, the stakes get higher. The fate of the Clans is threatened, and the two mollies lives become more important than they'd ever planned.

Being able to manipulate elements is common among the clan cats. ThunderClan have many heavy-defensive earth and poison type cats, RiverClan cats are often the enviable water manipulators, ShadowClan are sharp offensive fire types, and WindClan swift air manipulators. The Clans prospered with tense peacefulness, and they grew in great number, several new rare manipulation types even popped up, like ice and wood. Then it happened. ThunderClan attacked. With the realization that RiverClan, the largest of the Clans, held the advantage of water being stronger than their earth and poison, they slaughtered over half of RiverClan in a night relentless battle. Smokepaw was known as the RiverClan prodigy, greatly skilled in fighting with her water abilities. Now she's known as just another one of the RiverClan survivors staying in ShadowClan. Smokepaw isn't dumb though. She knows ThunderClan wants her dead. Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
