She comes from a rough past, she was an orphan for the first 5 years of her life until Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert adopted her. She is a beautiful young 17 year old girl, living her best life in high school, until she takes interest in her all time rival, Gilbert Blythe. Gilbert is a charming young boy, he's an orphan as well, orphaned at the age of 14 when his dad died. His next 3 years were sorrowful, but bearable because of the one and only, Anne Cuthbert. She's hated him since the day he called her carrots and she slapped him with a notebook.
