This is a Merlin x Arthur fan fiction. I will be including some fluff and smut, but I dislike putting warnings on the episodes as I dont want to spoil the content of the chapter. So if you aren't interested then please dont read altogether. Arthur is dying by the lake in the last episode of season 5. Although he doesnt die, Merlin manages to save him with his great powers. I personally felt as though Arthur should know how much Merlin has done for him, and find out things he wasnt aware of at all, so Arthur and Merlin have a lot to discuss as arthur grows curious. Merlin will take Arthur through all the times he wasnt aware of Merlin using magic to help, he will show how much he has done for his king. Meanwhile, Arthur finds himself viewing Merlin in a new light romantically....he battles with his thoughts until he comes clean to Merlin one night. *I DO NOT OWN MERLIN* *I DO NOT OWN THE COVER*

A modern day AU where Arthur is a doctor and a fellow named Merlin is his patient, who also turns out to have terminal cancer. Arthur finds out that he has little friends, and is determined to help him have good days before he dies--until he finds himself wishing for his new friend to be more than a friend. Note - I'm not that knowledgeable on what Doctor's do for their patients so some facts are probably wrong. Oh, and I apologize if Chapter's one and two and a bit more boring than the other four. This is a fanfiction about Merlin. Arthur and merlin were just on a hunting trip when bandits kidnapped merlin. Arthur is devastated. He is willing to do anything to get merlin back. But then a army attacked Camelot. Merlin isn't himself and he puts the one he loved in danger. Arthur has to stop merlin but how? this is after season 5 but with a different ending and Arthur doesn't know merlin has magic. It's about how merlin turned against Arthur. But little does he know that when he sneaks out to find this land and help its endangered people, Arthur followes him. Who knows, they might even swap roles and Merlin becomes king, while Arthur is just a knight?

Merlin dies for a bit at the end of the series instead of Arthur.
