Last year Katniss and Peeta won the 74th Hunger Games, meaning that they now will be dragged into being mentors every single year. The 75th Annual Hunger Games is starting, meaning there will be a Quarter Quell. Nova, a girl on 12 and Raze, a boy on 18, is the unlucky ones being reaped, and they get Haymitch, Katniss and Peeta as their mentors. Can these three mentors safe one of the kids? Raze is a quick, strong boy from the mines. He quickly shows himself just as skilled in combat as the Careers. Nova is completely different. She is little and weak, and used most of her time at home dancing, studying or reading. She is a smart girl, who knows how to survive, as long as no one will try to kill her. While the kids are in the Quell fighting for their lives, Katniss and Peeta is spending a lot of time together. Not only do they have the kids in the Quell to look after, but also the wedding. And throughout all this, all the nights of holding each other, will actual love blossom?

Katniss is going home after 3 years, waiting for District 12 to be rebuilt. Her mother committed suicide a week after Prim died. Katniss was alone. The only thing that was keeping her alive was Peeta. The urge to feel his soft lips against hers. Just to be in the presence of him. She hasn't seen him since the rebellion, but her plans of loving Peeta will be cut short when she gets home. You have to read the book to find out what happens next.

A story on the years from the epilogue, starting on christmas day, can Peeta and Katniss live their lives in peace with their children- or will their memories overrun their lives? What happens when one falls down? What happened to Gale? Can his and Katniss' friendship ever be the same? Have you ever wondered about Annie and Finnick's son? Johanna? When our eyes met, the memories all came rushing back. From throwing her the bread to saying goodbye at the Lightening Tree to the red plaid dress on the first day of Kindergarten. I remembered it all so much clearer, the shiny memories seemed to fade to so much dimmer terrors. But she's nearly dead. How can I convince her to go on, that life is still worth living.
