It was a common misconception that pureblooded children such as the Malfoys were bred from a family that was based solely on hatred. However, that was the farthest from the truth as the eldest of the Malfoy family, Saros, had grown up in a household surrounded by the warmth and love of his parents. He grew up spoiled, holding a sense of entitlement since the time he was young because his parents told him and his little brother, Draco, that they deserved the world. His parents had given Saros no reason not to believe and trust in their word, they gave him no reason for him not to love them, which made the internal battle turn into an all-out war when it came to choosing what side was right and which one was wrong. Saros learns that good and evil is not so black and white when living in a grey world. He will do anything to protect his family, even if it means making the wrong decisions in their eyes. Normally, Angelina Johnson wouldn't even bother with the likes of Saros Malfoy, after all, she has her own life to tend to and she knows the type of person that he is. Spoiled and entitled don't interest the girl, however, there is a moment, where she is a witness to something beyond the typical Malfoy air, a time where Saros shows that he is human and maybe Angelina's got it all wrong about the boy.

There were some things in life that even magic couldn't heal and for Zakari Ollivander, being deaf was not something that he wanted to be "healed" of anyways. Never considering himself disabled, Zakari considered himself just to be slightly different growing up. He still enjoyed partaking in activities that other children his age were involved in, even if he had to find his own way to do them. It was a challenge sometimes, but Zakari was always up for a challenge. As the grandson of a famous wandmaker, Zakari's biggest challenge yet would come to the young boy when he receives his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Without knowing him, people were quick to pass their judgement, believing the boy would struggle and calling it a waste of time trying to teach magic to a boy who couldn't hear and hardly spoke. However, Zakari sets himself out to prove that just because he was hard of hearing, didn't mean he didn't have anything to say. It was everyone else around him that needed to learn how to listen.

To say that Oliver Wood had a slight obsession with Quidditch was an understatement. It was borderline unhealthy. He loved the sport, but he hated losing. While he hated losing to any team, there was one team he hated losing to the most. Surprisingly enough, it was the Ravenclaw team. But it wasn't for reasons that many would suspect, it was because of who played on the Ravenclaw team. Melanie Anderson has been playing for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as Chaser since her second year. What started off as friendly competition turned into rivalry as she and Oliver Wood made it their sole mission to have their teams beat each other every year. Oliver wants to win for the sake of winning, but Melanie wants to win just to see the frustrated look on Oliver's face because it's just so damn cute. Plus, who wouldn't want to hear the sexy Scottish voice curse their name?

Charlotte wasn't always a sentimental person, not until her world was thrown upside down by a horrible accident. Then, to make matters worse, her parents decide to move her and her twin brother, Jayden, to London. It's a far cry from their humble home in the grassvelds in Kenya. Now, they have to go to Hogwarts to finish their schooling, much to the trepidation of Charlotte. At first her 7th year seems to be going horrible as the twins are split up in their respective houses and Charlotte has to make her own friends, for the first time ever. But unknown to her, it was the best thing that will happen to Charlotte. Without meaning to, Charlotte grows and expands as she is shown that she is as fierce and as fiery as a dragon. All because of a red head Weasley boy with a penchant for all things dangerous. -- The sequel is now out, check it out! Its called Animus! All characters that are in J.K Rowling's HP series belong to her and her alone. The other's are mine. No copying, please and thank you.

Adrianna Elwyn. Hufflepuff. Empath. Origami master. For years people wondered where they came from, whether it be a tiny paper rhino poking their ankle during potions, an adorable folded dragon flying around the greenhouse during Herbology or even a swarm of paper planes interrupting quidditch practice. Most assumed the origami army was just another one of Hogwarts quirks, but some knew different. Friends of Adrianna Elwyn knew how she enjoyed the art of paper folding, with many of her creations wondering around the Hufflepuff Common Room. Over the years Adrianna struggles to control her abilities as an Empath, being able to perceive other's emotions makes her an incredibly understanding person but it can also be intensely overwhelming. On the other hand, Oliver Wood never seem to realise how unenthusiastic the rest of his quidditch team was during one of his pep talks. He had a single-minded determination to win, and to do that he knew he needed to practice. The problem being the increased number of paper hummingbirds and butterflies and other distracting flying creatures that seemed to have taken to fluttering around the quidditch pitch during their practice. He also certainly didn't appreciate the little band of Hufflepuffs that showed up to watch them.

Nobody was necessarily destined for evil. In young Albus Dumbledore's eyes, evil was but a label for a past of mistreatment and a future of poor decisions. But when he set his gaze on Tom Marvolo Riddle, he could've sworn something sinister lurked behind his ice blue eyes. It shifted into a darkness he had never encountered before. Dumbledore was rightfully cautious when approaching another girl from Wool's Orphanage. He swore to himself he wouldn't make the same mistake twice, but he later found out he needn't be worried at all. Unfortunately, he took a long time to realize this. Longer than he would care to admit. Lucille was brought to Wool's Orphanage with no last name, and that wasn't even the strangest part about her. She seemed to know things that nobody had told her, and she'd send a grown wizard fleeing in the opposite direction with an arch of her eyebrow. There was a similar power beyond her eyes, and it took a long time for people to understand whether it was light or dark. Her tale was one no other's could compare to. Not even the bravest of Gryffindors would hope to venture down the path of a twisted, little, huffily puffily girl.
