Gon hid his sadness under smiles and cheerfulness. Under a sweet and calm personality. But he wasn't. no, he hadn't been happy for years. He was for a short while after Killua left, but as more and more time passed he realized that Killua probably wasn't coming back. He wouldn't have waited so long. If he could find me, he would. Gon had to change his appearance and his name, got himself a woman who looked like him. Inko was her name, she was his new mother. I miss aunt mito. He had tried looking, but nothing in this place was familiar. He was completely secluded from everyone and everything he'd never known.
