Avery Fallyn was your normal seventeen-year-old American girl, living a normal life in Crescent Falls, the town she'd lived in her whole life. All of that changed when Xander Hawkes - the insanely gorgeous, should-be-a-model new guy - moves into town. That's when the weird things start happening. Not only does Avery have to worry about waking up in the middle of the woods behind her house almost every night, but she also has to worry about the panther that's stalking her. The worst part of it all is that Avery is convinced that Xander is the Panther. Avery's life just got way complicated. But hey, high school's never easy, is it?

What would you do if you had the gift to make anyone fall in love with you? Some gift. More like curse. One would think that it would be the greatest gift you could get. Quite frankly, it’s like cheating on a test and getting an A. Unless you have no conscience, it’s virtually impossible to shake that feeling of false accomplishment. Though you can control whether or not you cheat on a test; it’s a bad choice that can you make. I, on the other hand, can’t control the fact that I can make anyone fall at my feet. I have tried very hard to harness it, and though I can hold it back sometimes, it’s still there. A constant reminder of how I’ll never experience true love. At least, the real way. A humerous twist on a sad, yet not exactly permanant, fate. Join Aurora and her friends Danny: Gay and immune to her charms, and Ivy: Understanding and spontaneous, as Aurora tries to find a guy that likes her for her, and not her curse.
