After Sasuke defeated Naruto in their battle at the Valey of the end due to said blonde holding back, the jinchuriki was found by his sensei Kakashi and brought back to Konohagakure and going straight to the hospital due to two stab Chidori wounds in his chest. After Tsunade was able to save his life Naruto woke up three days after the incident due to chakra exhaustion and losing a lot of blood, Sakura comes by only to yell at him and insult him but then she caught herself in her anger and tried to apologize only for Naruto to make her go out of his hospital room mid-sentence. After he recovers he goes to the Hokage with the request removing himself from team 7 and him being moved to ANBU only for Sasuke to be brought back by Naruto's team and to be shocked by the blonde's progress.
