Heroes are kind. Heroes save people. Heroes want to help people no matter what. Heroes are like All Might, smiling regardless of how a tough a fight is. Heroes, Izuku has learned, can also not be heroes at all. One article about a bad hero turns into four articles, then ten, then twenty and soon the whole country is reading about licensed villains playing at savior. Izuku writes them haphazardly, picking heroes whose wrong doings are masked by their fame. That is, until he meets Endeavor. In other words; the one where Izuku sees the fault in the hero system, makes it his mission to fix it with the help of one burnt fire-user vigilante, and eventually finds himself deeper in this mess than he originally planned. -:- Note this is a My Hero Academia fanfiction and any characters or aspects from the anime/manga belong to Kohei Horikoshi. Izuku is a professional hacker that uses his hacking skills as well as physical strength to fight crime. He works in a small cafe as a barista, one which pro hero Aizawa frequents. Aizawa had been struggling to gather information about a vigilante that had been dealing with crimes neglected by police. Little did he know, the vigilante had been making him coffee every morning. Aizawa discovered the vigilante wasn't as old as they had predicted and was undeniably living alone. With crime on the rise, the vigilante seemed to be injured every time they met. In order to protect him from the dangers of villains, he will have to capture him first. [TW's include panic attacks, suicidal ideation, self harm and abuse.]
