(Cover is not mine) Tighnari has been living in an abusive home for years, he never felt like he was enough for his parents, and his parents never felt like he was enough for them. Especially his father. They were always pushing him to the peak of perfection, which no person can reach, and one day he has had enough of that life and finally decides that he wants to leave all that behind. At 17 years old, he runs away from his home in Sumeru City. He receives help from 14-year-old Cyno, who finds him injured and alone miles away from his home. Cyno and his parents help Tighnari find a stable environment to live in while Tighnari struggles to overcome his emotional and mental trauma. Tighnari and Cyno may or may not catch a feeling or two for each other as Tighnari opens up and creates emotional bonds with Cyno, who helps him learn that it's okay to make mistakes and that nobody's perfect. Cyno help Tighnari realize that it's okay to trust and rely on others for help, and Tighnari creates familial bonds with Cyno's family and other friends that he never had with his own parents or family. Watch these two grow together, both in their age and in their feelings for one another as they go off as adults and decide their future together.
