For a school project which is spanning a record 12 months, I was given the opportunity to write this, a series of short stories designed to be printed alongside original photography in a coffee table style, bound book. I am open to any and all feedback, criticism and advice. Be warned, this will likely all be recorded in my reports so consider that before you write. Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy.

When Lexi comes across a vintage lamp at an old thrift store in the middle of nowhere, she decides it would make the perfect addition to her growing antique collection. Upon polishing the artifact, she discovers that the legend is indeed true- genies do exist. So when Jinn, an attractive, albeit slightly grumpy and sarcastic young man appears out of nowhere claiming to grant her wishes, she’s taken by surprise. One cranky genie. One (relatively) innocent girl. Five wishes at her disposal. The consequences? Definitely unexpected. Maybe he’ll teach her to be more careful with what she wishes for? © Copyright 2014 101Huskies

Jane Moore was as spicy as the chicken made in a white family's kitchen. She was quiet, only answered questions when they were asked and often dreamed of dancing in the rain with no risk of pneumonia or hypothermia, whichever one it is. Carter Williams on the other hand wasn't plain. He was loud, commented on everything and argued with everyone. He was convinced the world was out to get him and often struggled to see the beauty in even the most beautiful of paintings. What happens when you put a dreamer and a realist in the same room? Lots of arguing. Oh, and in this case, perhaps some love, too. Bringing you lots of spilled coffee, broken vases, and very insulting remarks, enjoy.
