The story somewhat follows the Hunter x Hunter plot, but through Hisoka's perspective and Kira, an original character. It also delves deeper into the backgrounds of the two, especially our favourite clown. "But I know her, she would only want the strongest to marry her." "The strongest, hmm~" He stared at her from a distance, she was pretty, that much he would admit. But looks wasn't something the "Magician" really looked for, although it was an added bonus in his favour. What he searched for was power, and the people that possessed it so he could simply destroy them in the end. "Her name is Katsumi Zoldyck, she's Illumi's younger sister." The girl continued to explain as the jester slowly began to look disinterested, he sensed nothing from her. It was until an applicant had tried to poison her, and she had politely declined, that a slow blood lust began to seep from her. "You want to meet her?" Three years ago you ran into Hisoka at the hunter exam and you were intrigued by him.
