Link let tears fall. Tears of confusion, fear, sadness, anger, helplessness. Her words pierced his soul and he felt something shift in the atmosphere. He felt a presence. A comfort.

"My dear knight you shall watch over your successor and protect him until his time comes. T-thank you, Link, my brave hero." Oo•oO Link groaned and stretched, raising his arms above his head. "Wait...arms?" he thought as he glanced down at himself noticing the red plumage had disappeared. He laughed thinking that he must be dreaming and shook his head. The man scanned his surroundings unnerved to find it unrecognizable. These trees didn't look like the ones in Faron woods. They were closer together and darker in color. When he turned his gaze to the ground on his right, he was surprised to find his kid laying there. The child he watched grow into the hero he was supposed to be.

The Rito had many traditions and ceremonies that Wild loved and cherished. But he really hoped to never see the Ceremony of Winds-the traditional Rito send off of the departed. But he would Guide the Winds, as Harth has asked of him. He would be honored to Guide Teba's Winds. Written for the LU Server's Weekly Challenge 'Traditions'. Hyrule found her hurt and alone in the wastelands of his Hyrule. Back then, he'd been a lone traveler named Link who was just trying to survive in a world that was against him. She had been searching for someone long dead. Together, they forged a strong friendship-an invaluable and unbreakable bond. Until the day came when Hyrule encountered his first Portal. And Navi cried. Written as part of a Write-Off contest with my LU server. :3 The original version was written in an hour's time, and will be posted as the last chapter. "Well, Wild? This is your Hyrule. Have you figured out why we're here?" Time asked. "Yeah." Wild swallowed thickly, forcing bile down his throat. "Well?" Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived. "Come on. We're heading towards Zora's Domain." A gang-meets-Wild fic with an actual plot (I think).
