Just like the Griever's Hole, the dead men hung by hooks, the Rat Man, the Cranks and the brick walls, Minho had hopes that Frankie's death was just another illusion. As much as he tried to distance himself from disappointment, this was one thing he simply couldn't let go. And, apparently, his hope wasn't in vain. It took him years to break through her wall in the Glade, but she returned with a much sturdier, thicker and tougher wall protecting herself. If asked, any Glader would never hesitate to answer "Frankie" as the toughest one of all. The true protector of the Glade. WICKED told them the Trial was over -no more tests, no more lies, but Frankie had been deceived enough to know that the statement alone could never be true. Truthfully, she wanted to die. She wanted to leave this cruel world of being experimented and played with too many times to count. Until she came back from the brink of death for the second time, with more names of her friends written as dead instead of alive. Now, she just wanted to run away. She wanted to live on a peaceful place, somewhere WICKED could never go, with Minho and all of her friends -Newt, Reggie, Frypan, Clint, Stephen, Thomas, even those girls she had only met properly once.
