To defeat The Darkling, Aleksander Morozova was trapped by the Grisha in a time loop of sorts. Now in Modern Ravka, Aleksander must undo his past mistakes by making Alina Starkov fall in love with him. But with the Grisha having faded into mere legends, Alina's memories gone, it will be anything but easy. Posing as her mythology Professor, Aleksander must try to reawaken his Sun Summoner inn order to restore his people and power back to the land. But someone out there knows his past. Will he outrun the time loop he's been cursed into? Or will he have to watch as history repeats itself again in yet another era?

Events are happening after season 2 (includes some scenes from 8 episode). I like an idea of dark Alina or morally grey. This story is about how I would like to see further events. How Alina will walk the Darkling's path, and understand all his words. How she will accept herself, and her love to him. P.S. If you read my story "The light behind the darkness", you may know how much I love Darklina. And after his disappointing death in the series, I have an inspiration to write new one about them.

Logan Delos, Billy Russo, and Aleksander Morozova are half-brothers who are part of the notorious Morozova crime family in Boston. When their young cousin Mal breaks the heart of Alina Starkov, the niece of one of their former staff Ana Kuya, they take her in again out of the kindness of her heart. At least that's what she thinks. Alina grew up in their house with her aunt, after the terrible death of her parents. The Morozova's become like family. Logan, the troublemaker. Billy, the charmer. And Aleksander----the dark, mysterious eldest brother who only seemed to vaguely tolerate her. She always thought her parent's death was a terrible accident. But the longer she stays with the Morozova's, the more she begins to suspect it wasn't. Will she find out the truth? Or will the Morozova's drag her down into their shadows before she does?

The Starkovs and the Morozova's have always done business together. Aleksanders father is the CEO of The Fold, a multimedia and tourist company. And Alinas father is the Vice President. To keep it all in the family, the Starkovs and the Morozovas arrange a marriage between the two the year before Alina enters her freshman year. To survive high school, Aleksander has a few rules for her. Rule 1: No one can know about the engagement. Rule 2: No dating. Rule 3: No drinking. Rule 4: No drugs. Rule 5: if he asks her to come to him, she has to come to him. But then transfer student Mal Oretsev comes into the picture with eyes only for Alina and everything becomes complicated.

Divergent storyline after Alina and Mal find the stag. Alina is captured by General Kirigan, but he doesn't kill the stag immediately. There is a second chance for shadow and light. Will Alina be sucked into the darkness or will she bring Aleksander into the light? (based on Shadow and Bone tv series only).

AU episode 5, where Alina heard what happened to Marie and Genya. She left the War Room with Aleksander. So Baghra didn't reveal the truth to her.
