‪BOHEMIA 🌷🌼‬ ‪An abstraction of creativity. ‬ ‪Deeply rooted in the harrowing aspects of the human condition, my twelfth poetry collection, 'BOHEMIA' is a darker yet stark, poetic exploration of nature versus nurture through a poetry collection rife in love, loneliness, trauma and grief. ‬ Bohemia is a landscape; be it physical or emotional. Bohemia is a world where love goes to die only to be born again on Earth. Bohemia is a cityscape where sadness crystallises and transforms into a kind of happiness; to shed light back on Earth. There is a sense of hope rooted in the soils of Bohemia. It's up to you to find it. 🌺⛅️

Do we want to escape the realities of our lives if there were only pleasure and happiness, not horrendous lies? Some say an abundance of darkness is what makes us appreciate a trickle of light. There was meant to be a balance not a pit of chaos in this world of ours. This is the collection of my internal conflicts, the thoughts that overpowered me with the darkest hour where the monsters chased, destroyed and ruined me to the edge of insanity. Fourteen year old me was scared and misunderstood. But eventually, I found my voice in form of words that understood and made me the way I am today. A strong person who can fend off those monsters with blood tinted swords. No more fearful To all the people out there, I acknowledge your presence and understand your feelings. You are surviving the horrors of life. But one day I promise you, It will be all worth it in the end if you believe in yourself.

The title of this book is inspired by The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. This is a book containing some of the rhymes that I have written through my life. I don't know if you will like it because it is mostly love rhymes I wrote when I was sad. I wrote some rhymes when I was angry as well, but just enjoy. My best work is done when I'm on the edge of blacking out, when you finally stop trying to pretend you have a grip on what runs though your mind, you should try writing with your eyes half closed and your mind wide open. This may be an on going project I may never finish or may decide to move certain works to different places depending on how this goes. I always have new ideas popping up here and there, I wanted a place I could put them all for others to read and maybe gain new perspective, learn from the things I write about or simply just enjoy mindless reading even if it's just jumbled emotional words. Some of these I wrote in high school...I'm sure you could tell...some of these could be as recent as yesterday. New ones will be thrown into the mix could be everyday day or every once in awhile, some nights I get decent sleep, but on the ones I can't...you might get lucky 😉
