Transformer terminology can be challenge to old and new readers and writers. Especially since they have such a vast amount of cannon series and differences throughout the Transformers fandom and shows itself. (A TFP Ratchet x femme reader fanfiction) A love they thought could never be broken. A love they both had since young bots in that small medical class so long ago back on Cybertron. ...A love that abruptly and unwillingly paused for them both. Ratchet felt that sharp pain every day since she offlined hit him deep in the spark, making it almost impossible to breathe. Yet he pushed through, for her. She was gone, and the sparkbond they shared was the only thing that kept him connected to her even though it caused him so much mental and physical pain. Until he impulsively cut it off one day, as his mental health couldn't take the memories that came back to keep him grieving every single day.
