I always assumed I was happy. I had a mother and a brother who I loved with all my heart. It was the last day of school that shattered every bit of happiness. The nightmare that would soon become a reality. My brother, Romano, and I were taken by some bastard to be tested on. He treated us like dirt, only using us for experiments. What was more screwed up was the experiment he was doing. He wanted to see if he could link two people mentally and he somehow succeeded. When Romano and I managed to escape, we attempted to break the link. We thought we succeeded, soon realizing that the man somehow infused the links with some sort of liquid. When we escaped, it activated something that would change our past, present and future for good. I no longer remembered my family, friends or even the man. All I remembered was Roma's name, my name and one other name that seemed familiar: Fairy Tail.

Azura North, not your typical seventeen year old. She spent ten years being bound with chains. Her plan of escape didn't go so well. She lost her vision in both eyes, draining all hopes in finding freedom. After being freed from her prison, she realized she had nowhere to go. Starving, blind, and exhausted, she was found outside of the building she escaped from by Porlyusica, who helped her regain her eye sight by replacing her real eyes with artificial ones. Although they weren't real, she could see perfectly with them. Azura was taken in by a Water Dragon, Atlantica. The Dragon, along with a wizard named Yuka, honed the young child's skills, engraving Dragon Slayer magic into Azura's memory. One day, Atlantica and Yuka disappeared. Azura searched high and low for the two who cared for her only to find out that they had vanished. Seven years passed and Azura came across Magnolia during her travels to find Yuka and Atlantica. She joined a guild called Fairy Tail, where she was reunited with her old friends. She knows very little about the adventures that are yet to come. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. ATLANTICA, YUKA, SENKIS, THOAN AND AZURA ARE MY OWN CHARACTERS.

(A/N) These characters just came to me one night. I never felt the need to write before that moment, so this is all a first for me. The story flowed from my mind to my keyboard late at night and I just fell in love with it all. So please share any comments you may have, and any errors will be noted and corrected, please be kind to this newbie. I am looking forward to reading any feedback. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and evaluate my story. Excerpt from prequel... “Why?” She finally screamed at him. He was a broken man. His skin was blistered and burnt, bleeding from the fissures she had caused. The smell overwhelmed her for a moment. He gasped in a breath, and she realized he must have inhaled some of the flames Christopher had surrounded him in when she had allowed him to breathe again. “Power.” He rasped. “Your force here alone is evidence of what you can be when you combine with him.” He looked towards Christopher’s prone form on the ground. “The child was an unknown…” “And now she will never be!” She hissed at him. “But neither will you. You should have left us in peace. We would never have come for you.” She leaned in until she was face to face with him. “You lost your life when you took my daughters.” She saw the fear fill his eyes again, and she revealed in it. Without breaking eye contact she pictured his beating heart, her eyes narrowed as she crystallized his life source. His eyes widened as he felt her actions, he clasped a hand to his chest and drew in a staggered breath. “Two by two… You think…you…are removing…the serpents head, but…you know so little…” He gasped his last words. She raised her chin and with a firm set of her jaw, she watched the man die.

Silena Jackson was best friends with Sammy Zhang, Thaila Grace and Jake Valdez. Their parents were all best friends too. They always went on break together. Silena's brother, Luke, would constantly tease her about liking Sammy, but he was so wrong. Silena always had a soft spot for Jake, not Sammy. Now that they were all, something happened that shocked them all.

Let's get one thing straight: what you think is cool, ends up as something that could potentially kill you. It's even more dangerous when you reach 13 because that's normally when the attacks start, and it won't be long before they find out too. You don't wanna know who 'they' are, trust me. I found out who they are the hard way. You'd never think I'd get kicked out on the second day of school, would you? Well, that's what happened. I was a regular thirteen year old with ADHD and Dyslexia who got kicked out of five different schools in a time period of—say, three, four years? Like I said, the second day of school changed everything. I wouldn't be as safe in the normal world so, with the help of two close friends, I was taken to the only safe place for my kind. 16 year old Fauna has the rare ability to shift her form. She is not the only one, she goes to a private school of the gifted people. The school tries hiding these 'gifted' people from the government, but being locked up in a school isn't exactly fun. While people who go to public school complain, Fauna is stuck in this school year around. She wants more.
