It's July and the Too Cool crew have a month before they go off into college. Izzy had her baby boy, Demarco on June 12th and the father of him only started the tip of the drama going on in the lives of the teens. Taylor is no longer the same person. She's broken. Hurt. Sad. Since Jacob left, everything changed. Bahja is being home-schooled since she has a child. Taylor now goes to LASAS: Los Angeles School of Arts and Science. And she HATES it. ______________________________________ I constantly get picked on by Carla and her friends. Taylor's mom and Ron don't have the time to pay attention or help me out.  Tyler got enough credits last year to graduate early so he's in LSU as of now.  I haven't talked to Jacob since he moved to Atlanta. he doesn't answer my calls nor does he answer my texts.  So, basically, there's no one here for me..  I cry myself to sleep almost every night. I don't even smile much anymore. The only person who makes me smile is Troy, my next door neighbor. He's soo freakin sweet and cute and tall and dreamy and cute.. I'm sorry. He's just so cute.  We don't go to the same school but he moved in last year. he doesn't know that I get bullied but he doesn't need to know.. I guess that's all you need to know..

I am anything but normal or average. You see, my DNA is different. No, I'm not a werewolf. Or vampire, fairy, wizard, witch, or ghost. When my skin comes in contact with water, I change. My eyes and hair change. My eyes become a clear silver and my hair a solid blue, lighter than navy but darker than aqua, sorta like the Crayola color. I get a tail for feet and my scales are the color of my eyes. So now you think "Scales? Like a fish or something?" Actually that is half true. I'm half fish and half human. Yup, that's right. I'm a mermaid. That's not all of it. My family are as well. (End of Sample):
