I've never done a book like this but whatever....SCREW IT. Literally what the title says. I'll put some info on how I rp this fandom and if you're interested just comment or message me. I know Subnautica doesn't really have a large fandom, but it's literally one of my main fandoms, sooooo yeah. I can barely find x readers, so rp is the next best thing. Besides, rping is a good way to meet knew people and possibly make friends! Also, I made the cover. The images I used aren't mine. I just took a bunch of different images and kinda photoshoped them together. So all pictures used belong to their rightful owners. And...how did I do on the cover? Does it look ok?

When the Aurora crashes on 4546B, it has devastating effects on anything within a 940 meter radius. But there was one that it destroyed completely. When it crashed, it landed on a village of mer-people, destroying said village and killing the inhabitants... except for one. A mermaid who was lucky enough to be somewhere else at the time. In the not so distant future, humans have began colonizing the far reaches of space. The Alterra Corporation sent a ship named "The Aurora" out to the Ariadne Arm Galaxy to construct an interstellar Phasegate for advanced space travel. Before arriving at their destination, The Aurora made an emergency crash landing on an uncharted planet called 4546B. Only 1 crew member miraculously survived the crash; Non-Essentials System Maintenance Chief Ryley Robinson. Stranded light years away from civilization on a planet entirely covered in water, he'll have to use his wits, tools and the alien life to help him survive. It won't be long until he realizes he's not entirely alone after all.

The main storyline will pretty much stay the same though. Olivia Miller and Brooks Green were crew members aboard the largest ship launched by Alterra, the Aurora. The spacecraft was on its way to the Adrien Arm within Federation Space to construct a new phase gate. But a secretive side mission, which most of the crew was unaware of, was to be completed on the way. The Aurora was to preform a slingshot maneuver around an ocean planet but unexpectedly, it was shot down by a mysterious weapon. Olivia and Brooks were the only two survivors out of the entire crew. Now they needed to pull together to find some way off of the alien planet covered in oceans and inhabited by undiscovered creatures. But unknown to them, the planet was in serious danger from a bacteria floating within the waters. A mystery that would send Olivia and Brooks diving to the deepest part of the ocean in order to save this planet and themselves. This is a story follows the adventure of Miya Watt, the second survivor of the habitation vessel Aurora. In the intro of "Subnautica" it is said that there was only one survivor of the Aurora. But a lone pod was ejected from a jettisoned section of the Aurora, and Miya was fortunate (unfortunate) enough to survive. Don't expect it to follow the game much.

This is basically a story where a group of people are trying to survive on an oceanic planet after their ship, "Aurora" was shot by a mysterious orbital cannon. Will they be able to return back to Earth? Will they survive in an unknown oceanic planet? What mysteries will they be able to encounter on their journey?
