Inspired by the events on the Dream SMP, L'Mandberg/Manberg/New L'Manberg, and my imagination. Not everything in this story happened in the actual storyline but it is based off of it. Remembering his own struggles of growing up orphaned, Philza vows to never allow a single thing to happen to these children, and he sets off to raise them as a single father. Though, it seems being a family is a lot harder than it was first made out to be. As winter progresses, a deathly beast prowls around the corner and tensions set in between family members. With Techno muttering to himself and taking up sudden actions of violence and an obsession to fire, Wilbur becoming restless with flashes of his life before returning, Tommy wanting to have more freedom and have a chaotic control over his life, and Tubbo who decides that not enough people listen to him that he would make them listen. That's all without the fact that Philza seems to keep his very job a secret from the rest of his family... As the tale unfolds, so does the delicate strings holding together their family. The only wonder is, will they make it another day to see the golden sunrise once more, or will night prevail and the watchful beast finally hunt down each and every one of them?

This is just a Sleepy Bois+ Tubbo family/adoption au that I decided to write because why not? Tommy and Tubbo are twins, Philza is the dad, Techno the oldest and Wilbur is the middle child (technically) So yeah, read if you want to, idk. Tommy, who had been in and out of the foster system since he was 6, was told to get ready for another family meeting. To say he wasn't too fond of that was an understatement. He knew the routine, get adopted, get abused, get put back into the orphanage, repeat. But when this family of three is kind to him, what's gonna happen? How will he react? And how will he fuck this one up? So just to put out there, Tubbo is the neighbor across the street- not part of the family.
