Though still working with the G&K, she has been secretly helping Lae Fritsch who 'invited' her to live with her in the newly rebuilt Falzheim, the clockmaking village. During the rebuilding of the village, Lae Fritsch professes her love towards Karliana, which Kar has known about since the start of rebuilding, and accepts her love. Though, as fate would have it, an accident happened when Karliana was shopping for groceries in the city near Falzheim village. She saved a young girl's life from a truck whose driver had passed out due to illness and was driving in full speed on the road, at the cost of her own body and core being destroyed on the impact. This devastated Lae Fritsch, sending her down towards depression as she wept for her lover's death. However, after Karliana's unfortunate demise, her mind was transferred by another deity before she was fully destroyed in the process of the accident. Now she wakes up in a world where warships have been humanized into Kansen or ship girls. Will she be able to continue her life and reunite both factions? or will she face her death once more?
