Felix, an aloof student with no real plans for the future ⎯or even the present⎯ decides on a whim to study abroad at a sleepy university in the heart of Australia. Though expecting a fresh start, Felix quickly becomes enchanted by his fellow student Auden Bridgelow, who is brilliant and beautiful, and everything it seems Felix is not. But what is at first an innocent crush becomes something far darker, as Felix soon learns of Auden's strong opinion that anything can be justified in the pursuit of pleasure. Even murder.
