According to his parents, Jean is a moody, rebellious teenager. Being the oldest of four kids, he thinks that he has the right to be, and the fact that his parents are making him go on a vacation that he doesn't want to go on does not help matters. But when he is there, he meets Marco, a sweet kid with freckles everywhere. Jean soon discovers that Marco has suffered from a stroke, but despite the effects, he doesn't let them control his life. Though things seem normal, something weird is going on at the resort. Something that could put Jean and everybody he loves in danger.

Jean works two part time jobs a day saving up for a home and paying food expense. He lost all of his family and friends when he was just a kid, kicking him into the streets, isolated. . Marco is a kind hearted soul with an average life, average family, average job. A home. But he doesn't have anyone to talk to. No one will listen to him and help him understand and go through this depression. He isn't happy. . Jean bakes cookies and blends drinks at the coffee shop, a part of his life he actually enjoys. When Marco starts coming to the cafe with a gloomy expression, he catches Jean's eyes. What will happen when they're paths cross? .
